A military takeover was announced late Friday in turkey by
faction of Turkish army, a statement from the group was read out on national
broadcaster. It said that the democratic and secular rule of law had been
eroded by the current government.
The clashed and protest broke out in turkey following the
coup attempt announcement. The rebel faction of army tried to take control of the
strategically important places; military jets are also seen flaying low in
Ankara. The attempted was foiled by Turkish army and protesters loyal to Tyyab Erdogan
thronged to street in favor of president and Turkish army.
In a statement, the Turkish foreign ministry said the coup
attempt "was foiled by the Turkish people in unity and solidarity. President Erdogan latter
appeared on TV with number of active supporters and said that he is and elected
president cannot be removed from office with any extra constitutional attempt.
Clashes during coup attempt claim number of lives majority of

overnight clashes and 1100 wounded, many of them were civilians. There are reports

recent reports 754 soldiers were arrested, one unit of 60 soldiers on Bosporus Bridge

It is reported that Army chief Gen Hulusi Akar has not any
link with coup attempt and he may be make hostage by rebel forces. However, Gen
Umit Dundar, commander of the 1st Army, has been appointed acting chief of
staff.
The Turkish government law minister said that we have found
that exiled Turkish cleric Muhammed Fethullah Gülen have connection with rebel
faction of army. Muhammed Fethullah Gülen lives in self-imposed exile in the
United States, residing in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. Turkish president
announce cleansing of army and suggested strict punishments for those who have
any involvement in launching a military coup.
