Since more than sixty year the poor people of Kashmir have been bearing the atrocities of the tyrant Indian army. The terror let lose by Indian army is the worst form of state sponsored terrorism. The use of brutal force by Indian army is apparent again after the martyrdom Burhan Wani, a Kashmiri freedom fighter. Indian army used excessive force against innocent civilians protesting peacefully over extrajudicial killings, it is a blatant violation of the Right to Life, Right to Freedom of Expression and Opinion, Right to Peaceful Protest, Right to Peaceful Assembly and other fundamental rights. Kashmir issue is a tale of historical political crisis. It is time that world powers must peep into crisis and fix this problem so that chaos in the region may Minimize to some extent.

The martyrdom of Burhan Muzaffar Wani a young freedom fighter who was fighting for his people and his land against occupiers has reinvigorated the freedom movement in Kashmir. Burhan Muzaffar Wani was undisputedly a valiant freedom fighter. He himself has to face the atrocities of Indian forces and his brother tortured to death by Indian forces in front of his eyes. This was the major factor among others which led him to fight against the occupiers. Over the years poor armless people of Kashmir have been tortured by highly armed Indian army and police. Women are raped, youngsters are tortured to death. However, despite all these atrocities Indian army cannot manage to convince the people of disputed territory to attach with India.
India is using every kind of nefarious technique to deprive the people of Kashmir from their basic human rights. Here the role of international community, world big powers and United Nation agencies is also lamentable. They yearn to end chaos and wars in the world but reluctant to concentrate on the historical dispute which has now become a tale of human sufferings. The world community needs to fix conflicts like Kashmir conflict to bring peace in the world. Every man on the earth has freedom of life. So the people belong to this part of land must have that one.

The issue is simple to understand that if a party A and party B claiming ownership of certain area, the fate of that area will be decided according to residence of that area that whether they want to join party A or party B or they wish to live independently as part C. Similar is the case of Kashmir, ask residence of Kashmir what they want to do and resolve the worlds historical dispute, which had been a major cause of chaos in the region. However, if party B threatens the residence of that area and forcefully occupy their land then what will a thinking mind must do? They must decide the issue and fix the occupier so the peace in area may come.

The similar is the case with Kashmir, according to census 2011 total population of Jammu and Kashmir is 12.55 million among which 85, 67,485 are Muslims whereas 35, 66,674 are Hindus. While the strength of Indian army deployed in disputed territory is more than 1.1 million with 1.4million police force according to 2010 estimate. India does not have any moral and political right to have such huge army in a disputed territory. The world community must take notice of this grave issue for the sake of world peace.
